Research work in elementary school

Do you know how chewing gum is made? Or where did the pen come from?

And our students know the answers to such fascinating questions! Because the other day in Ilim, the results of design and research work in an elementary school were summed up!

What does it mean? From the beginning of the school year, the guys choose interesting topics, divide into groups and begin an active immersion in the research process.

The guys studied such interesting topics as:

  • "Where did the pen come from?"
  • "Science Fiction in the Lego World"
  • "Kurut" - history
  • "The circus. Profession - circus actor"
  • "New Wonders of the World"
  • "Timeline of my family. Family traditions."
  • "Streets of Bishkek City"
  • "The Great Silk Road"
  • "Creative people in my family"
  • "Folk art of the Kyrgyz"
  • "Useful properties of trees and shrubs of Kyrgyzstan"
  • "Gum. To chew or not to chew"
  • "Use of Paper"

Someone is interested in national games, someone is interested in creating books, and someone is exploring the streets of Bishkek, going on excursions, learning the history and sights of our city!

The study of the chosen topic takes place not only in the classroom, but also directly in production. For example, not long ago our children visited a printing house, and today they are making books.

Perhaps the research topics seem to be quite simple things, but the knowledge they have acquired will be useful to them in life. Many other discoveries await them, because any discovery kindles small sparks of desire to seek and create, which will surely lead to the child's success in his future life!
