School readiness

One of our main objectives to prepare children for school.

Training is carried out in the senior and preparatory groups of our educational complex. Psychological services and speech therapist are involved If necessary, after consultation with parents.

How to determine the child's readiness for school? There are three main components:

  • social;
  • emotional;
  • intellectual.

SOCIAL COMPONENT

Child’s need to communicate with his peers and his ability to communicate, interact, follow the rules and regulations.

EMOTIONAL

Ability to regulate their own behavior

INTELLECTUAL

  • Attention
  • Perception
  • Imagination
  • Memory
  • Thinking
  • Speech

MEMORY PROCESSES

Ability to memorize and reproduce arbitrary

ATTENTION

Along the development of a child's volitional qualities his attention from involuntary changes to a qualitatively different stage of voluntary attention with the inclusion of such features as:

  • concentration
  • sustainability
  • changeover.

THINKING

  • Ability to contribute significant properties of things and phenomena.
  • Ability to investigate, compare, see the similar and different
  • Skill to analyze, reason

COMPONENTS OF EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES

  • ability to take learning task
  • to understand the instructions of the teacher and accurately perform them
  • ability to control their actions, behavior, quality of the doing job
  • the ability to critically assess their work.

MOTIVATION

  • the child must be willing to go to school
  • a conscious pursuit of school-learning activities.
