International Down Syndrome Day

"Ilim" EC joined the #lotsofsocks flash mob dedicated to the International Down Syndrome Day.

March 21 - World Down Syndrome Day. This date - the twenty-first day of the third month - was chosen to denote the uniqueness of the trisomy of chromosome 21 (three copies instead of two), which causes Down syndrome.

On this day, various events are held around the world aimed at raising awareness of this syndrome.

Together with our students, we join the international campaign #LotsofSocks.

To become part of the flash mob, from March 20 to March 27, you need to post on social networks a photo in bright socks from different pairs with the hashtag #LotsofSocks.
