Psychological readiness for studing at school is a complex indicator that allows you to predict the success or failure of a child's education in school.

Our testing allows parents to see at what level the mental processes of the child are at the moment. These are: memory, attention, thinking and speech of the child.

If the child is psychologically ready for learning, it does not matter at all the development of his academic skills (reading and writing), as he will learn this at school. Therefore, we do not include this in our testing.

Psychological testing is necessary in order to identify the child's strengths and weaknesses, which parents and the teacher should pay attention to for the successful development of the child. Based on the test results, teachers carry out an individual approach to learning, develop the child, focusing on his strengths.

Receiving recommendations, the teacher develops the child at school, and the parent at home.

It is important to note that the frontal lobes of the brain, which are responsible for the child's learning, mature by the age of 7.

Psychologically prepared child for school is:

  • able to be attentive in the lesson, focus on the task;
  • knows how to act according to the given rules;
  • knows how to bring the work started to the end;
  • knows how to manage his actions and emotions, to restrain negative manifestations.

Psychological readiness for school (synonymous with school maturity) is the necessary and sufficient level of a child’s mental development to start mastering the curriculum in the conditions of learning with his classmates.

It is important for parents to understand whether their child will be willing to attend school, how easy it will be for him to learn the school curriculum and whether he will have difficulties in social adaptation depends on his psychological readiness.

Parents may also attend testing.
